Join us at the Spring Fair in the Horniman Gardens. Expect circus skills and games, music performances, and an Easter bonnet parade. Enjoy traditional fete games, bubbles and craft workshops!

Timed activities
Spring Time Disco with DJ Danny Nutt | 11.30am – 1.30pm
DJ Danny Nutt from Nutty’s Children’s Parties will be providing the bouncing, bopping soundtrack to the Spring Fair, as well as party games and the Easter Bonnet Parade.
Mrs H and the Singalong Band | 2pm – 3pm
Enjoy a toe tapping musical performance from the singalong phenomenon with live instruments, puppets, and more!
Easter Bonnet Parade | 1pm
Hop your way to the Bandstand to take part in the Easter Bonnet Parade.
All day activities
Family Craft | 11am – 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Join a special edition of our weekly volunteer led craft. Create your very own Easter bonnet to parade throughout the fair and take home with you.
Traditional Fete Games | 11am – 4pm
Fun and games for the whole family to enjoy with these vintage game stalls. Free games all day for you to really build up your skill level.
The Imagination Station with SeedofPlay | 11am – 3.30pm
Get stuck into the magic of woodworking, use simple hand tools to build an imaginative wooden masterpiece to take home and learn a valuable life skill along the way.
Suitable for ages 2+
Circus Skills and Hooping | 11am – 4pm
Project Hoop have everything you need to learn some amazing circus skills and get your hoop on!
Bubbleology | Intervals between 12pm – 3.30pm
Chase mega-bubbles or tiny foam bubbles around the Gardens with Kat from Bubbleology.
Seed Planting | 11am – 3pm
Plant up some calendula seeds to take home to watch grow.
Bouncy castles | 11am – 3.30pm
Bounce as high as you can to the sky on giant bouncy castles. Prices from £3. Suitable for ages 3+.
Book Love | 11am – 4pm
Book Love’s multicultural, travelling book shop joins us at the Fair showcasing new and exciting children’s books.
Animal Walk | 12.30pm – 4pm
Visit the alpacas, say hello to the rabbits, or wave ‘hiya!’ to the goats.
Butterfly House | 11am – 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
We have a discounted price to visit the Butterfly House during the Fair. Tickets can be purchased from the Butterfly House on the day which is only open for Fair goers. £2.50 per person.
Mini Golf by UrbanCrazy | 11am – 4pm
Tickets can be purchased from the golf stand on the day which is only open for Fair goers. Adult £7, Child £4.50, Family £17

- The Horniman Café will be open as usual, stamps will allow re-entry to the event
Ticket information
- Please note this event is outside so come along, embrace the springtime atmosphere and dress appropriately for the weather on the day.
- The Gardens will be accessible to ticket holders only. Reduced-cost tickets for the Butterfly House will also be available on the day for event attendees.
- The event will take place whatever the weather and refunds will not be offered in the case of bad weather.
