Taxidermy case of one adult male, one immature male and one female Little Owl. According to Edward Hart, writing on 15 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male, shot by Cooper (Keeper) in New Forest, September 1856; middle right (no 2): adult female, shot by Coles (Keeper) at Burley, November 1871; bottom middle (no 3): immature male, shot by me in Littledown Wood, near Christchurch. Sexes alike; summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by myself and my brother W. Hart'.
