Square copper alloy amulet box, ga'u. On the front there are four triangular protrusions on each side of the square. The front of the box is decorated with inlaid turquoise. At the top of the box on the reverse is a loop.

This style of ga'u was fashionable during the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Lhasa. It was worn by women.
