Rectangular, cream-coloured, tabby-woven textile fragment decorated with a tapestry-woven square in cream and brown. The square is attached with red thread. It is decorated with a circular centre surrounded by 2 borders. The centre contains the remnants of a brown lion(?) motif, outlined in cream on a mixed ground. The surrounding cream ring has 3 tre-foil motifs branching off into the remaining corners. This is surrounded by a cream convolute band on a brown ground. The reciprocal wave band in cream and brown is separated from this by a thin cream frame.
