Roughly rectangular, cream-coloured, tabby-woven,Coptic(?) linen fragment decorated with 2 purple bands, and a purple and green roundel. The roundel contains a purple centre which is separated from the purple outer ring by a green ring. It appears to be worked in weft pile weave using woollen(?) yarn. The 2 wider bands appear to have been worked like tapestry, also using woollen(?) yarn. Near one of the longer sides are remnants of a purple line.
