Woman's jacket of light green silk patterned in the weave with allover swastika motifs and embroidered in silk with flowers and butterflies. Deep border at lower hem, sleeve ends and neck panel (which extends down top part of side opening) in pale lilac silk, with cut away pattern at sides of lower border and lower part of neck panel to right. Between sleeve ends and main part of sleeve a strip of woven silk with black butterfly and mutlicoloured floral motifs. Black piping round neck. Green piping where lilac silk meets main body has deteriorated. Secured with metal buttons at side opening, fixing into loops on right hand side and with two metal buttons at neck which fit into loops made of silk cord which has been shaped into applied decorative motifs at loops and adjacent to these top buttons. Matching trousers are nn524.
