Man’s baldric or sash. Woven band in blue cotton, with lozenge shapes on the front formed by the addition of red dyed hair on the weft; the lozenge shape outlined by blue warp. The warp ends twisted together. A fringe of dyed long red hair, interspersed with white hair in five places, suspended from one side of the centre part of the band in a series of clumps tied at the top with yellow orchid stem.
