Carved teakwood panel showing Krishna in a tree having stolen the garments of the milkmaids. The figure of Krishna is at the top of the panel in the tree with one of the garments in his right hand. One girl is climbing the trunk of the tree, one is seated on the left side, and three are standing on the right side. One of these three is in an attitude of prayer. The other two have a hand covering their private parts. Some surface damage on the front.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
