Nephrite figure of Budai Heshang, cloth sack monk, also popularly known as the Laughing Buddha, and regarded as an incarnation of Maitreya, the Future Buddha, in Chinese Buddhism. He is depicted as a plump figure with bald head, elongated earlobes and a smiling face; wearing a draped robe that exposes the chest and fat belly.
