Cylindrical container with 113 altar spilling sticks, kau cim, used to tell fortunes, and inscribed on the outside. The sticks are inscribed with different numbers relating to different answers to a question posed by the questioner. He or she would shake the box until one falls out, and the interpreter would then use this to make his forecast. Inscription.

Usually used in a Buddhist or Daoist temple to make predictions relating to an answer posed by a visitor.
