Head from an animal figurine in dark red terracotta, with flat, rather bovine muzzle, punched out eyes, a black painted stripe extending diagonally from the left ear (?) to the lower neck. Marked on the lower neck with 'SD' (Sar Dheri, Charsadda District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan). Early Historic Period, probably early centuries. Archaeological context: presumably unstratified and from a surface collection. Given by Col. D H Gordon (1952/3).
