Carved wooden painted mask with a protruding nose and chin and wide mouth with even teeth in the upper and lower jaws, painted alternately red and white. It has flat, circular pastille-shape eyes, which are unpainted. The surface of the mask, particualrly the forehead, is painted with curvilinear designs in red and black. Lines of red and black dots surround some of the features. There is one detachable ear, which fits into a slot to the left of the mask; the other appears to be missing. There are two apertures to either side of the nose for the dancer to see through. It is made of very light wood.
