Heavy wooden mask. Round red-painted face surrounded by black painted wavy border all the way round. Thick blunt nose. Large round eyes. Moustache made of horse hair, twirled at centre and attached at either side of mouth, ends loose. Fangs in upper and lower jaws. Lower lip pointed down at centre. Strands of horse hair attached to chin benetah strip of leather nailed to mask. Eyebrows painted black. Two feathery pointed motifs painted on each cheek directed towards nose. Apertures to inner part of eyes and at each side of mask perhaps for attaching cords for wearing. Unpainted on the inside. Label: Old exhibition label which reads "Demon".
