Small circular wooden bowl with a projection at one end suggesting the head and neck of a bird, and a projection at the other end suggesting a bird's tail. Below the bird's neck is an aperture in a smaller projection. There is a painted row of reddish dots around the rim of the bowl, initials in brown (T.D.S.?) on one side and the date 1795 on the other, a trefoil motif above the tail and feather shapes on the neck. Old repair with a metral plate below the date. Remains of a label read: '..er fra ....83'.
