Embroidered floral-shaped silk fan, stretched over a cane frame with a central rib which is slightly bent on the top and secured with a 'ruyi' shaped gilt metal clasp, trimmed with patterned silk ribbon. The blue silk leaf is embroidered with butterfly, rose and wild chrysanthemum blossom. The wooden handle is fittted with red wooden finials, embellished with carved pine tree and cranes, bordered by key-fret pattern. Two rosettes used for securing the leaf and the handle are missing.
