Very wide skirt of chaofu made up of two main panels, together having 95 pleats. Dark blue silk with twelve roundels containing embroidered dragons above five dragons chasing the pearl, themselves above traditional mountain and sea design, some of the precious emblems emerging from the waves, and bats flying above. The panel which forms part of waistband also contains five pearl-cahsing dragons. Metal thread couchwork and multicoloured silk embroidery.
