A pair of bound feet boots of Northern style with upturned pointed toes and wide tubular shafts. The upper is of black silk embroidered with floral design at vamp. The throat is of blue and pink silk with ribbon trimmings and gold foil cut outs in the shapes of two bats, two cockerels and an endless knot. The boot shaft is of white silk with red cotton top band and woven ribbon with butterflies pattern on the bottom band. No inner lining but with blue cotton stiffener placed inside the back of the quarter. Arched sole of quilted blue and red cotton, decorated with white ribbon with green floral pattern on sides.
