Embroidered panel including much metal-wrapped thread couchwork. Three figures are depicted. The central one is playing a side-blown flute and is standing on a stool. Below him and to his right and left are two further figures. The one on the right holds a fan; the one on the left appears to be pulling out a cloth from above the stool on which the first figure is standing. In the background there are large numbers of circular motifs with the embroidery arranged in spirals within. Clouds are depicted above the scene; the lower part seems to suggest a body of water from which plants are growing. In a wooden frame. Approx 1730 high x 1300 wide.
