Gourd-shaped holy water vessel, chambu, of brass sheet, which has been covered with a layer of vertical strips, alternately of plain copper and chased brass. Lotus design on the underside, surrounded by a band of petals. Mouth has everted rim. Small hoop at each side of the neck, through which passes a chain, probably for carrying.
