Length of cuboid felt. The piece is probably a broken section or piece from a larger shield. The broken piece might have been used for decoration on the shield. The felt is red with two parallel lines of white stitched thread at the top of the cuboid. The felt is wrapped around a stuffing, which gives the section its three dimensional shape, and this is possibly made of leather.
