Scale consists of an ivory scale rod marked in black dots and attached with three red tassels, a brass pan hung down at one end of the rod joined by four cotton cords. A maker's mark stamped on the centre of the pan (partly readable), next to some Chinese or Japanese inscription written in black ink.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
