Vase, phuldaan, with an everted rim, decorated all over the surface in underglaze shades of blue and green depicting a view of the Amber Fort on each side above a blue field, perhaps a lake, with a stylised landscape with copper-blue shrubbery. There is floral decoration on the shoulder and underneath the rim.

(Relating to nn1779, 1780, 1781 and 1782) These objects are from the Jeypore School of Art. They share along with the other Jeypore School of art Ceramics, hand written numbers on their bases. These are rather calligraphic, could they have been written by someone who was not used to the Latin script? Could they have been written for Horniman as he made his collections?
