Short tobacco pipe made from brass,with a stem more or less rectangular in section and narrowing to a mouthpiece and small bowl. One side of the stem is plain, and the other is decorated with raised motifs of two drums towards the bowl end and a mask of an old man with a fan towards the mouthpiece, these set against a tooled background. The images are symbolic of the Noh or Kyogen theatre.
