Wooden ancestor tablet, with the central panel loose and a missing base. The central panel has an inscription carved down it and the frame has some carved decoration. The column on the tablet reads 梁門堂上歷代宗親之神位, which refers to ‘the shrine of all the ancient ancestors of the Liang (梁) family’. There may have been too many ancestors in the family to fit on the tablet, so in order to include everyone, they used a collective term to show equal respect to all their ancestors.
