Brazier cabinet of red wood (hongmu) with brass fittings and hinges, in an upright rectangular form with two panelled doors at front, each engraved with Chinese inscriptions, secured by brass hook-and-loop lock, below which are fitted two brass studs. A bottom drawer is fitted with a brass arched handle at front. Two similar handles are fitted on either side of the cabinet. A small hole is pierced between the lower panelled doors. A large pierced hole on top, where a lid would have been placed but is now missing. The back and sides are pierced with ruyi shaped motifs. The front between the door and drawer has geometric perforation. Three iron bars are fitted inside the cabinet, where a brazier would have been enclosed for warming a pottery teapot.
