Round, brass coin of 10 cash with a square hole at centre, minted in the Xianfeng reign period (1851-61) of the Qing dynasty. Around the square hole are Chinese inscriptions "Xian Feng Zhong Bao" (Xianfeng important treasure) on the obverse; on the reverse are Chinese inscriptions of 'ten cash' arranged from top to bottom, with Manchu inscriptions from right to left indicating the coin was minted in Jiangsu province.
