toddy container

A basketry toddy pot. The container is squat, with a flat square base. The rim is round and is made from a piece of cane. The handle is composed of woven twine and is affixed to opposite sides of the pot. There are dark shades of grass used to create bands of patterning, and also patterning in each of the corners of the base. The object has light damage.
