Snuff box made of dark horn, roughly shaped figure with horns. and decorated with beads. The bottom has been plugged with a piece of wood. Two thirds of the way up, the horn has been narrowed to create a neck, above this is a small crudely carved human face with ears, or, this could be the snout if this represents a cow. The hole for the snuff is in the top of the head or snout. Above this, the point of the horn, has been carved into two narrow horns. There is a length of string wrapped around the neck several times. This is tied at the back, where a looped length of clay beads are attached.
