Rectangular envelope for use by officials, printed in turquoise ink as well as written in black ink with inscriptions that read vertically and from right to left. The front inscribed with date of 13th day of the 7th lunar month of the 14th year of the Guangxu reign period, 1888. The writing on the back, in black ink, mentions that the Emperor awarded an official in Chongqing city, Sichuan province a feather plume. Both front and back have red rectangular seal impressions.
