Newspaper printed in moveable type with ink on paper. This newspaper was printed in Hong Kong on the 12th day of the eighth lunar month of the 12th year of the Tongzhi reign period (11th October 1873). The front page reports prices of commodities, e.g. cotton, western gauze, textile, steel, coal, wood, flour, rice, ivory, rhinoceros horn, sulphur, dry seafood and stock markets. Local and world news are on pages two and three, but most of the content is business related. Notices and advertisements appear on page four.

This newspaper was printed in Hong Kong in the mid 19th century and was equivalent to today's Financial Times.
