A cylindrical wooden box. The box is lacquered in black and red. There are bands of patterning, varying in width. The design varies between circular patterns, and a floral design. Metal thread has been inlaid in small circles to create further decoration. The base of the container shows signs of manufacture, having been turned. The outside of the opening of the box is lacquered in red, the inside in green.
