Circular wooden plate, lacquered all over the surface in many colours and depicts many figures, some of them with animal features, probably a scene from a story. A central figure with a pointed hat and bearing a sword in his right hand is riding a donkey. Apart from the central figure, each appears to be playing a musical instrument or dancing. Floral decoration all over the background. The inside surface of the rim is decorated with fish, snakes and ducks. The outer surface of the rim, which is serrated, has vertical bands of decoration, representing lotus petals. The base is lacquered a dark blue.
