Lacquered wooden box with a detachable lid.Cylindrical box made from wood with orange-red lacquer covering the inside, base and edges. A wide band of gold lacquer work covers the outer surface between two narrow bands of inlaid white metal. The lid is domed with the inner surface and edge lacquered orange-red and the top in gold. There are borders of inlaid white metal to either side of the gold lacquerwork. At the centre top is a ring of black decorated with inlay and incised lines in red. Knob missing.
