Wooden pot suggesting gourd shape, with the upper part slightly smaller in diameter than the lower. Made using lac turnery; the outer surface is decorated in horizontal bands, in which the glossy black lacquer has in some parts been painted with bands of beige decoration of dots and bell shapes. Elsewhere decorated in two bands, the upper depicting birds and insects, the lower running dog, deer and peacock, by scraping off the lacquer. The inner surface is painted leaf green. The number 17650 painted on the underside.
