Brass oval tray with an everted rim decorated with an elaborated scalloped edge. The upper surface of the tray is decorated all over in a vegetal pattern in red lac with detailing in blue lac over a brass design. The underside of the tray is coated in black lac. There are the remains of a label attached to the underside, which reads: 'School of.... No. 16...Name Enamel of...Price 12 Rs.' This is almost certainly a reference label from the Jeypore School of Art.
