whipping top

Whipping top or chakri made from lacquered wood. The object consists of two discs which are either connected or carved from the same piece of wood. The object is lacquered in red and gold, with circular bands in black. A pin made of either bone or ivory runs through the centre of the object. Label: one white label, printed and handwritten.
