Wooden object, possibly a digging stick or a long sword club. At one end it is of shallow lenticular section and tapers throughout the length of the staff into a rounder more oval section at the head end. The end is formed in to a pommel which is demarcated from the upper shaft by a single shallow raised ridge. On one side there is a paper label which reads “club, Fiji L43” although this item is not a Fijian club.
