Root stock club fashioned from the lower half of a sapling. This type (Clunie 14D) retains a short length of tap root and the beginnings of several side roots. It is bound throughout the mid shaft with two colour coconut fibre cordage binding and bears tavatava zig zag engraving at the handle.
