Muslim prayer book, leather bound, with inside the front cover a label from Cooper's Bookbinders, 97 High Street ,Croydon, and bearing a Frederick Horniman book plate. A handwritten note in ink inside the next page reads: 'not all by same writer probably belonged to an ancient Spanish Moor Mograbin characters very choice 20/-'. A printed slip inserted between the 96th and 97th pages reads: 'Various MOHAMMEDAN PRAYERS. A curious volume, in small 4to, written in a rude but very distinct Mograbin character, nearly approaching the Cufic; pointed in a different-coloured ink. I should guess that this is an old copy, and has belonged to a Spanish Moor. 152pp.'
