Necklace, thudze, of Indo-Pacific glass beads and rubbed cylindrical shell beads, with a conch at one end to secure the strings. In the central part five horizontally strung shell beads are linked to ten strands ofred Indo-Pacific beads at each side. Beyond this the bead strands are linked to four shell beads, in turn linked with seven strands of red and blue Indo-Pacific beads at each end of the necklace. There are eight bone spacers separating the shell elements from the beads and at each end of the necklace, which is secured by a shell at one side which passes through a string loop on the other.
