Taxidermy case of two adult male Rosy Starling. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male, shot by F. Hart, Purewell, 1841; right (no 2): adult male, shot by J. Cull, July 8th 1862 in Creedy Gardens, Christchurch. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage differ. No 1 mounted by Barron (taxidermist), no 2 mounted by me'.
