Taxidermy case of adult male Crested Tit. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, '(No 1): adult male. Was shot from a clump of fir trees, near Stanpit Marsh, Christchurch by Mr Footner, 1846. Sexes alike, summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by Barron, Taxidermist, Christchurch. Re-mounted by Self'.
