Taxidermy case of four adult male (one variety) and two adult female Brambling. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Top left (no 1): adult male; top middle (no 2): variety, adult male, 1881; top right (no 3): adult female; middle left (no 4): adult male; middle right (no 5): adult female; bottom right (no 6): adult male. Shot by me in various farm yards in January 1881 and April 1885. Sexes differ. Only come to Britain as a winter migrant. Mounted by me'.
