Taxidermy case of adult male and adult female Sandwich Tern. According to Edward Hart, writing on 9 May 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult female, May 14th 1880, summer plumage; right (no 2): adult male; May 14th 1880. Shot by me in Christchurch Harbour. Sexes alike, summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
