Taxidermy case of three adult male and two adult female Common Crossbill. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Bottom left (no 1): adult male; top left (no 2): adult female; top right (no 3): adult male; middle bottom (no 4): adult male; bottom right (no 5): adult male; nest and three eggs. All obtained by me in Southbourne Wood, near Christchurch, 1895. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
