Taxidermy case of two adult male, two adult female and four young Common Snipe. According to Edward Hart, writing on 5 May 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male, 1891; left middle (no 2): adult female, 1891; right middle (no 3): adult female, 1891; right (no 4): adult male, 1891; four young. Shot by me on Hurn Common, Christchurch. Sexes alike. Summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
