Taxidermy case of two adult male and one female Eurasian Siskin. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult female, winter plumage, February 1869; middle (no 2): adult male, winter plumage, February 1875; right (no 3): adult male, winter plumage, February 1868. All three shot by me at Cattern's Hill, Christchurch. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage, male differs, female the same. Mounted by me'.
