Under glazed and inset panel on right-hand end frame: 'Premiata Fabbrica di Armonici, Pancotti Antonio e Figilio, Macerate, Marca di Fabrica, Marche Italia,' with fancy lyres, gold medals, etc. 10.25" x 5.88" diameter walnut veneer, with fully purfled and marquetry inlaid ends. Right-hand has 2 rows of chamfered square bone keys and pallets: 10 outer, 9 inner, with exposed pallets. Left-hand has four pearl-tipped bass buttons, plus wooden bass lever. Left-hand end has 4 domed brass feet. Later thumb and hand straps. Sixteen-fold wire-edged bellows with pale papers.
