Complex button accordeon, Amsterdam. No serial number. Oval ivory plaque on front panel engraved: 'C Keltner, Amsterdam.' 14" x 6.5" diameter ends, fully veneered in walnut and rosewood, with whitewood stringing and solid mahogany hand bars. Fretworked pallet cover. Right-hand: 37 flat ivory veneered keys, laid onto solid rosewood blocks, arranged in three tiers on a markedly stepped solid mahogany hand bar in 3 rows: 12 outer, 13 middle (including 2 'double' keys), 12 inner. Left-hand: 22 ivory faced rosewood keys in similar layout to right-hand: 3 rows: 10 outer, 7 middle, 5 inner (including one large square wind key). Moulded and fretworked rosewood pallet cover. Long brass thumb strap bar on each hand bar. Ten-fold leather-edged bellows with dark red embossed papers and gold embossed borders. Single steel tongues riveted onto really heavy and thick one-piece zinc reed plates, three each end.
