Melodeon, Germany. No serial number. Metal corners are labelled: 'The Squirrel Accordion Trade Mark Registered, made in Saxony.' Bellows stamped: 'Chromatic Accordion.' Right-hand end embossed: 'Steel Bronze Reeds.' 11" x 6.5" diameter black stained wood ends, metal binding. Right-hand: 2 rows (10 + 9) plastic buttons. Left-hand: 4 spoon basses, 1 spoon air valve. Right-hand thumb strap, left-hand hand strap. Eleven-fold bellows: 4 thin, 3 thick, all metal edged. Flowered papers. Brass reeds on large beds.
